The Ecuadorian is a variation of the well known and popular Psilocybe Cubensis or Mexican mushroom.

Many thousands of years ago, the Cubensis spread all over the world and adapted itself to the planet’s many different climates, in this case to the climate of the region now known by us as the country of Ecuador. Over time, its appearance changed, but also, and more importantly, it grew stronger than its Mexican brother.

WOW! Definitely strong .. A thousand colours, intense introspection through music, I split the packet in two to share the trip with a dear friend (half the package must be approx 1.5g) and I was already very high. My advice to beginners : go slowly on the dosage.

Amazing. I took 1'5 grams, to test the waters. Quite a long trip, since the strong part lasted for 3 hours. Not visual at all but my reality totally changed. It was in fact like my own reality translated to some... equatorian deep tribal village. Very very heady trip.

I like my Psilocibic shrooms above everything: getting into the trip and coming out of it is so sweet and subtle. A++++

Let me make my review more specific then - Whoosh!
Since it is not my first experience, let’s develop some specification.
Geometrical hallucinations: very strong. Sometimes it is not possible to distinguish your position in space. Actually, none position.
Acoustic hallucinations: at minimum.
Out of body experience: very little, almost none.
Organic patterns, fractals: present, but lower then average.
Colors: little traces, bright, some distortions.
Rush: pretty high, but boring and unpleasant.
Feeling high: none.
Insights: none.
Another dimensions, cosmic creatures etc.: very little, almost none.
Freaky: not at all, just be positive.
Dark side: surprisingly strong fever and nausea.
Length: 3 – 4 hours.
Comedown: no problem at all.
Advice: better stay at home. It’s like to catch a cold.
Conclusion: In case you are a fan of “The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari” movie, don’t think twice, it is exactly for you. Otherwise, not worth.

Took 2.5 grams in one go on an empty stomach. In the beginning, I went outside but got a bit of a nauseating feeling from it, so I decided to take advice from Terence McKenna and be alone with my thoughts and the mushroom in a dark room.

They kicked in pretty strong and I went through a bit of a bad trip, but I have emotional issues that I had to deal with so I was expecting this. after about an hour I looked up at the curtains in my room and they were magical. Completly morphing into different shapes, and the word 'staggering' and 'cinematic' kept arising in my mind. I started to come out of the bad trip and everything started to make a more positive turn. I felt like the wardrobe in my room was 'friendly' and had an essence to it, even though in the back of my mind I knew it was just an inanimate object. The lines on the wood we're shapeshifting. I felt like the drug was flirting with me and hinting at the possibility that another realm was just around the corner. I also started to see elf like shapes in the curtains watching me, but there was a positive feeling throughout and I never really felt I was losing the true sense of reality at any stage.

I eventually felt it was time to get up, and I felt revitalised and more sure-footed. It felt as if I had 'come through' the worst of it and was ready to take on the world again. Music was amazing and everything took a groovy 80's feel, everything looked old fashioned and my vision was proper HD.

Really good trip and would have given 5 stars only for nausea, and I'm still unsure if the nausea was from the mushrooms, or due to my mental state. I think it was the shrooms though!
