Trichocereus Pachanoi (AKA San Pedro Cactus)

Trichocereus Pachanoi (San Pedro Cactus) is native to the high Andes. The San Pedro Cactus is a very hardy and easy to grow columnar cactus, often growing a foot per year and reaching heights of over 15 feet (40 feet has been recorded). San Pedro Cactus is ribbed, with usually 6 to 8 ribs. San Pedro Cactus is a branching cactus and often has many side arms.

Trichocereus Pachanoi (San Pedro Cactus) is the most common and well known of the Trichocereus. It was named after Saint Peter supposedly because it was, like Peter, thought to hold the keys to heaven. Trichocereus Pachanoi has been known and used ceremonialy for over 3000 years and there is evidence to suggest cultivation of Trichocerus Pachanoi in Peru from 2200 B. C

Usage

If you want to grow the cacti:
Put the cutting 5-10 cms deep into a flower pot with cacti earth, so that it can´t fall!
Give it some water (adding growing nutrients is optional), but only enough to make
the complete earth wet, the cutting will build new roots after 2-5 weeks! In growing
periods (summer) give it water (best with grow nutrients) every week. Refresh the
earth in the flower pot every 3 years!
For psychedelic usage you can take the cutting, cut (300g fresh cacti for a regular
trip) it into 1 cm (0,4 inch) thick slices, put them in a cooking pot with lot´s of water,
adding lemon juice (makes it easier for the alkaloids to solve in the water) is
optional. Boil it for 5-7 hours, if too much water evaporizes, add some more. After
the cooking period take out the cacti slices, your tea is now ready! Only take on
empty stomache!!!
You can also cut of the bark (the rest of the cacti can still be used as tea), including
the dark green flesh and dry it in the oven or in the sun, then powder it and swallow
it or put in gelatine caps to 1 Gramm each. Take 2-3 Gramm for stimulation or 10g
and more for psychedelic effects.
Smoking the cacti with cannabis increase the THC effects, also THC increases the
effect of the tea!

One advice on this pretty little cactus:

1)Dont just chop it up and eat it.

It didnt bring forth any kind of rush, not even the slimmest kind, and it tastes like a slimey version of a random leaf and has the texture of a aubergine but is as tough as rubberfoam.

(we where with 3 people approx all 25 years old and fit)
My friend put his portion in a blender and made a slimey cactii shake. yuck, that was horrible.

2)If u want to feel something, u have to do a lot of work.

The internet is loaded with how to prepare this substance into something less volumous and more effective, but i warn u, it takes at least 48 hours of work to get something usefull out if this desertflower.
