In Oaxaca, in Southern Mexico, Morning Glory seeds are esteemed as one of the principal hallucinogens for use in divination as well as magico-religious and curing rituals. This variable species ranges through western and southern Mexico and Guatemala and in the West Indies. It can be found as well in tropical South America. Effects
The effects are similar to LSD and other hallucinogens, but more tranquil. Some people experience nausea during the first hour, large doses are not recommended (the bigger the dose the bigger the side effects). After the major effects have worn off, one usually feels very soft and relaxed. Warning
The use of psychedelics generally enhances your mood so avoid places where you don’t feel relaxed. Keep this in mind when planning a trip. It’s not advisable for people with a history of hepatitis, or other serious liver disease. Not recommended to be taken by pregnant women.
